Chongyan Mandarin offers two types of classes
Oral Mandarin Class
- The Survival Oral Mandarin class is the perfect place to begin! Classroom games, conversation practice, and real world activities helps students gain the skills to speak Mandarin effectively. Students will learn tonal sounds, vocabulary, sentence structure and common expressions within China.
- Oral Mandarin Immersion Class (Intermediate)
The Immersion Oral Mandarin Class is designed for students who are prepared to immerse themselves in the Mandarin language. Students will be challenged to use only their Mandarin speaking skills in class, being pushed to their ultimate level of comprehension. In a short period of time, students will improve their speaking and listening skills.
Mandarin classes integrated with a special interest.
Chongyan Mandarin offers 7 types of special interest classes to enrich students’ knowledge in different areas. They include: Studying in China, Life in China, Sports, Traveling, Culture, Business and Official Communication in China. The emphasis will be on speaking and listening. Upon request, students can also learn how to recognize Chinese characters.
